I watched this film for the first time in 2020. For a 58 year-old film it has stood the test of time surprisingly well. I'm not enough of a WWII history buff to give an accurate opinion on the accuracy of the logistic details, but to me it seemed to be a reasonably truthful and knowledgeable portrayal of events. The action rolled along at a good pace, it seemed a quick three hours to me.
