Ignore the wanna be film critics this show was fun to watch and I loved that the flashbacks gave us two storylines kind of like west world but with more clearly separated time periods. There were a lot of stupid moments that made the writing seem a little lazy like what 2022 teen with a scientist for a father wouldn’t have enough common sense to know not to open the cages on unknown lab animals? Or like a woman who is supposedly witty enough to survive so many years in a zombie apocalypse but was dumb enough to not only bring a zombie on board but then also barely restrain it during testing with her daughter in the room?!?!? Beyond all that the storylines were great yes the teens were annoying but that’s the point. No it wasn’t very scary and there weren’t enough horror zombie scenes but I can’t wait for season 2.
