I was raised in Delaware County near where this story is set. I think it made the story a little too real for me. I'm all too familiar with Media, Aston and the traffic on 352. Something most people won't understand is that Delco girls are tough and rarely back down when anything involves protecting family. I moved out of Delaware county to Delaware, just south of Wilmington 3 years ago. I have to say, though the story was fictional, I'll be looking over my back anytime I visit friends and family back home. And my kids will not be left alone anywhere!
