this movie is perfect for girls with mommy issues lol. This movie delivers a powerful feminism message and courage young women , wives and mothers to know their worth, stand up for themselves and being confident bcs there’s literally no reason for them to be insecure. Wonderful thing about women is that we all have so many potential bravery and courage to stand up for oneself and defy social expectations. They do the unthinkable to freed themselves.The connections between the mothers and their daughter deeply correlates with me. It talks about they mother traumatic past and how that affects how they raise their daughters. like that one quote i have read: “mothers are human. who sometimes give birth to their pain.instead of children. it also present sets of struggle and typical love hate relationship that most mothers and daughters go through. It talks about typical asian moms unhealthy expectation towards their children. One of the scene broke me where the daughter finally confronts her mother abt how she’s so tired of always being a disappointment to her mother. I think what really makes this movie stands out for me is the message they’re trying to display. Although the pacing is quite slow i say its worth it to stay until the end. Ngl this movie makes my eyes a bit teary. Do give it a watch !!. A solid 6.5/10

overall the movie is fun to watch especially with friends and its not the type of movie to be taken too seriously. the actions is awesome and brutal making it even more exciting. the visuals and cinematography which is amazingly based on neon colours really puts the movie on another level . it has great effects and the pacing is just nice. The characters are colourfully played by star studded cast. They all have witty sense of humour, memorable traits and background. For me lemon and tangerine absolutely steal the show with their amazing chemistry and were the best part of the film but i want more background about them and i would be more invested in the movie if they were the main characters. i give it 7/10 bcs i find the plot quite simple and plain. the plot was all over the place and dragged for too long. I didn’t get much adrenaline rush since there’s not much going on and the plot just lay open so its quite predictable. the ending for me feel like its disorganized and out of place and the pacing towards the end was quite rush. to be honest the acting of the cast made up for it. It felt more like a video game than an actual movie and i found it to be weak and desperate at creating a clever entertaining action movie.
