FROM SOFTWARE shows yet again why it is the best action game developer of the modern era. * Story: gripping if intentionally vague. * Graphics: as good as they need to be, No more, No less. * Music: Perfection * Gameplay: Perfection There’s something else that FROM excels at that is hard to define. If I had to put a word to it I’d say it’s engagement. I just find it so hard to put their games down. Even when a particular boss is wiping the floor with me I can’t ever shake this “just one more try” feeling their games bestow. It’s like I’m 7 years old again trying to beat Castlevania. I can’t wait to see what else they come at us with over time.
