This book was beautifully written and left so much to analyze/think about. The imagery was clever and really added to the mood. I appreciated how realistic the story was too, the reactions of the characters were spot on in my opinion. It doesn’t give you all the answers and the plot isn’t constantly stimulating but that’s what i appreciated. You have to think for yourself and let the details pave the story. They’re not included to reach a word count, they truly add so much if you can slow down and appreciate them. Such a nice switch up from the fast paced books I usually read. I listened to this story via audiobook which I think is partially why I was able to enjoy it so much!
