Slightly dissipointed. Very very frustrated.
While botw was a great game.. it's hard not to see tears of the Kingdom and think, "they just replaced a few things and sent it back out to us.". What were they doing all that time?
While I enjoy seeing all the references to skyward sword and I do like some aspects of the game, still, its very shampoo-rinse-repeat from Botw. They basically took all our Sheika tech and put a new coat of paint on it.
I really wanted and expected more from Nintendo and a legend of Zelda game and I am dissipointed to spend $70 on a game that's the same game I bought years ago.
I'm playing Botw all over again, literally, from the ground up. Same beginning set-up with a different flavor, same map building mechanics, same shrines to gain heart containers/stamina wheels.. was there anything you could've done differently, Nintendo?
The worst part, though, is probably the new set of abilities we have.. what happened to the Sheika slate?
All of the building takes FOREVER and is NOT intuitive. I pers have a hard time figuring out exactly what some of the shrine puzzles want me to do? Some of them are very very counter intuitive and confusing.
Lile. Why am I, link, a little hylian boy, using my weird alien technology hand to attach sticks together to make a big bat to hit a ball to a target? Weird. If I could get a refund, and continue to just happily and blissfully unaware play botw I would.
