Im honestly giving this game 3.5 stars for three ways of thinking.... Number .1: storytelling culda been waaay better handling joel tommy & ellie... TLOU.2 seems to be more focused on leaning everyone off those three characters in favor of Abby like if maybe TLOU.3 was to come out ellie and abby would be the new jole and ellie (just a thought) anyways playing Abby was sickening at first but learning her with out the prejudice of how i felt about jole and ellie i couldn't help but understand her but her entrance to me culda been handled way better and joel deserved better than a golf club Number 2: ellie and abbys story are exactly the same both play angel & devil in in eachothers story seeking revenge for the death of their fathers & friends no matter how yu slice it Joel's actions demanded revenge from someone he was selfish but very much understood by everyone playing from his perspective as a father... Ellie as the daughter seeks revenge at all cost (no hesitation accidentally kills pregnant woman) abby as the daughter was seeking revenge for years so of course (no hesitation kills the man who just saved her life) only difference is circumstance and personal grief and consequences in doing those actions to people you don't really know. Which is why playing as abby is so frustrating because you do not know or at this point don't care because you never knew her in the first place. Jus think if the world played as Abby's dad with abby searching for the fireflies like joel and ellie we would have a different opinion (ijs shoe on the other foot is not so cut and dry) Number 3: The gameplay was amazing to play as both characters honestly. But this game was falsely advertised from the jump everyone was seeking and expecting Joel's involvement in this game and it wasn't deliver it when it counted.. Thats the major problem i have with this game not that he's even dead or killed by Abby just that we where kinda promised we'd see him and ellie in action together at least once before he died.. Also I think everyone overlooks where you find Abby as Ellie at the end if she did nothing and didn't seek revenge abby would have died on a stick she would have never lost her wife and child an still would have had the ability to play the guitar. Bottom line everyone's actions including Ellie's green lit them for revenge from someone at some point... Overall i enjoyed this game very much the story not so much but it may fit into something in the future that's better

Speaking as a pure gamer. I give this a solid 9.5.. This is an amazing game great combat experience plenty of secrets and the force use is easy enough to control and get use to... Only draw back is that its a pretty short game. I feel it could have been a bit longer story wise. Now speaking as a Star Wars fan this game lacked at least two certain aspects i would expect coming from the Star Wars universe. The first being space battle, i don't know about you but every Star Wars movie had at least one space battle in it (or at the very least infiltrate and sabatoge mission) . I may be too into it but i feel the game missed an opportunity with that concept. The second short coming is more saber on saber action. I jus feel for this to be a jedi game it should be more lightsaber on lightsaber fights than was offered. Not saying that the fights we got where easy or not good enough just should have been more of it. So as a Star Wars fan i give a solid 7.5 . P.s. I still love the game best Star Wars game E.A has put out in quite some time buy it, play it, love it! And as always May The Force Be With You.
