Watched this on Netflix last night and was pleasantly surprised.
Must have missed it when it released in 2008 and just never saw it till now.
It's definitely worth a watch and has some fairly good scenes with the natives showing the group just how far they're willing to go to not let them leave, and it's not personal at all, once you see the young boy scene you realise that it's the place not the group.
By the time you get 10 minutes from the end it's looking grim with no one getting away alive, but you will have to wait until the credits roll to find out.
Decent cast, good gore and not a bad plot definitely give it a watch.
