Not bad, but not amazing either. I’d give it a 3.5 or so. The pacing is wonky and there are A LOT of characters and it’s hard to keep track of them as most are not fleshed out particularly well. The worldbuilding is great tho and the story is pretty decent. It just needs a fair amount of polish. I see a lot of people review bombed the book and are complaining about feminism and patriarchy and one review here even says that the book portrays Yoda as an old white guy. Please do not pay any attention to those reviews. They’re not written be people who actually read the book. There is definitely no feminism in Light of the Jedi and Yoda is barely in the book at all, and he most certainly is not portrayed as an “old white guy”, whatever that means. I was actually kindof shocked to see so many people complaining about feminism in this book when there is quite literally no feminism nor even any feminist subtext at all. Literally, none at all. Not even a little. Most of the major characters are even men.
