If I’m being totally honest, I disliked that movie a whole lot. Let’s talk about not linking the lore at all. I’m very disappointed that Vanessa (who is literally in security breach) is the daughter of William Afton . That makes absolutely no sense at all whatsoever. The father and son bond between Michael and William is one of the most important things that add to the lore, and yet, they aren’t father and son. I was very disappointed that the animatronics became friends with “Abby.” They are literally murderous killing machines. Plus the fact that Abby shouldn’t exist. I think they meant for her to be like Elizabeth, but Elizabeth is dead and possesses Circus baby. They used the “Little kid being friends with ghosts” trope and it was just boring and cringey. I like how they added the 5th kid in Mikes dreams, but they did not show Golden Freddy at all despite the “it’s me” in one of the scenes. I would’ve really liked to see that. I don’t know if I’m being harsh because I’ve watched the lore and it doesn’t really link to the movie. In the scene where Spring Trap gets spring locked, I would’ve expected more if blades were penetrating through your skin, but instead, “grahh grr” that’s all that happened. No penetrating scream and no blood like from the game. It would’ve been better if the animatronics when cornering him, slowly drifted into being their “ghost” or human selves. I was very excited for the “I always come back” scene, but it just wasn’t it. He didn’t say is in a way that was actually exciting. He said “I always come back!😊” I would’ve loved to see the bite of ‘83 instead of garret being kidnapped. Anyways, to conclude, I overall disliked this movie very much and would’ve liked if it linked towards the lore more, and actually had some blood and better jump scares. 3/10 overall.
