it was boring and relied too heavily on jump scares and cheap “creepy” moments that just came off as cringy. there’s too much build up for no payoff. the plot was predictable and there was too much foreshadowing but it never fully explained the actual phenomenon going on beyond a cheap explanation that gives 0 payoff.
