This newest remake of an old movie just didn't thrill me. Somehow it just did not captivate me. Compared to the 1976 version of the film this version seemed flat. I watched it on HBO and it actually took me several sittings over 2 days to watch it. I forced myself to watch the last 25 minutes. In my opinion, the version with Barbara Streisand and Chris Christopherson was much better.
