Vasundhara Saha

For those of us who have read the novel and seen the 1940 film, this is an absolute let down. The difference between the two is so vast and so much in disfavour of the new version, I begin to believe that this would have been better not attempted at all. For those interested, there's a beautiful copy of the 1940 version for free on YouTube. Watch it and judge for yourselves.

A few notches below the other two films in this trilogy.

A good director could have worked wonders here. As it is, this film will give you a first rate headache and nothing more.
