I would definitely recommend watching this series movie if you A. Like Tollywood thrillers (by that I mean you know what to expect in terms of the masala, action and the plot twists) B. Are Vijay Sethupathi’s fan (he did a fab job as always) and C. Like movies with social messages. While I recognize the importance of basing a film around rape revenge fantasy, it is clearly evident that it is a film made and filmed from a male perspective. It can be triggering for many, it can be empowering for many and it can simply be entertaining for others. I was pleasantly surprised by Anurag Kashyap’s acting skills (can’t promise no drama). Direction was decent, the real award must go to writing! The way story grips you from the beginning, the metaphors and the narration in parallel, keeps your mind boggled throughout. It was definitely playful because at one point you would very conveniently put it all together, Very well thought after by the writer and the director to give the audience an experience to remember.
