Danee Young – Google

This movie, despite being over the top (AMAZING special effects), hold it's own 11 years after release. The actors and the acting from the children to the grandmas all make an impact on the underlying message that asks: what would WE do when faced with unimaginable challenges? Unfortunately, the real world is facing these "unimaginable challenges" with COVID and now Ukraine, etc. It is my hope that with all our missteps (and the obvious ones in the movie's story - they didn't save very many people), we would make the right choice and "open the doors".

The hypocrisy of these lead characters handing out "life lessons" to those dependent on them, victimized by them, trivialized by them is just becoming too much. These same characters are the most screwed up of all. The arrogance of these personalities as defined by the egocentric director Taylor Sheridan and this show is just becoming too ugly. Glorifying these type of people perpetuates them. It's a choice. I don't choose these kind of people.
