Doctor Dreadful

This is by far the best Forza Motorsport yet. I was fortunate to be able to pre-order and gain early access so that I could play as soon as possible, as I was highly anticipating this release. The graphics are amazing (maxed out on PC). The car detail is incredible, as well as the car sound effects. The changing track conditions are especially fun to experience, contrasting from static track conditions in previous releases. Also, the track detail is next level. The online racing experience is highly entertaining. I found myself addicted to the competition, especially since you can practice and qualify before the main race. This enables me to start in a position that fits my skill given the track and car restrictions. Now I don't have to worry (as much) about getting around traffic that is slower than me and getting caught up in the nonsense that inexperienced drivers bring to the event (we all have to start somewhere). The only negative feedback that I have is that I've had the game crash a few times, (after qualifying in pole position and before the race, twice) but that is to be expected as this rolls out on different platforms with different operating systems and hardware. I've seen a lot of negative feedback about the car leveling system and how you have to reach higher levels to unlock certain upgrades on any car.. I personally enjoy the grind and progression as you gain experience with a car, rather than being able to hop into any car, implement or download a tune before even driving it. I feel that I have progressed and "earned" the ability to upgrade a car, through experience driving it. From my experience through the years of Motorsports and Horizons, Turn 10 has generally pandered to the whiny unmotivated players and nerfed the games to make them easier to earn rewards, instead of moving towards rewarding hard work and time invested. They even removed the weekly Rewards Tier System because it was "unfair" to players new to the series. This was after I went back and earned my way to top tier.. anyways, I digress.. I took a few days off of work to really immerse myself in this release and am already very addicted to it, and am looking forward to playing again as soon as possible. This is an incredible simulation racing experience, and I am grateful to all of the developers and Turn 10 for this experience!
