One scene in Masters of the Air sums up the entire production. An American "superstar hero aviator" knocks down a British officer with a single punch to settle a barroom dispute. The scene is utterly clichéd, contrived and pathetic, and sets the tone for the entire miserable series. Depicting the British, who had been flying and dying for 4 full years battling the might of Luftwaffer unassisted, as feeble little sissies was totally cringe and embarrassing. Spielberg and Hanks should be ashamed of themselves.
