I really liked it. I THINK it was meant to be a satire simply because it could not be taken seriously. It was well-cast, and although the plot was sort of shaky, in the end it was basically about good conquering evil, and who doesn't like that? I am sure critics were not enthusiastic about the film because it was a little difficult to follow; however, the film's chaotic storyline was (hopefully) written as a type of immersive experience with the audience: we were as confused as the story was. Naked Singularity is not a movie for everyone. It is directed toward people who can think conceptually and allow for off-beat plotlines. I happened to enjoy it, but I understand how some folks wouldn't.

The critics were wrong. Law Abiding Citizen has it all. Wrapped in a bow and served on a silver platter.

If I hadn't already known this was a Guy Ritchie film, I would have figured it out in the first ten minutes. Fast paced, witty, and of course British, this film is typical Guy Ritchie. And it delivers. Great performances, a solid script, and a catchy soundtrack make this movie a must watch.

Has the feel of a Tarantino movie, but it slightly misses the mark. Still, great sets, great music, great cast. I liked it.

I remember the first time I saw Jennifer Lawrence in action: in Winter's Bone. I loved everything about that movie, including Lawrence, and I knew she was one of the best actresses of her generation. She delivers again in Causeway, as does her male counterpart. But the movie itself bored me. It was real, sure. But it felt flat. I never felt like I understood the characters' motivation. What's worse, I didn't care. This was a movie about nothing special. I don't need to watch a movie about ordinary life. I live it. I applaud the lead performances of Causeway. Unfortunately, even they could not save this blah film.
