So here’s the deal. In order to make border lands as close to perfect as possible it would need to be a series for the hard core fans. I’ve played every single game from start to finish many times. I’ve platinum for every single game that offered trophies for border lands. That’s real dedication right there. I loved the movie. Yes it’s not perfect and more things could have been done but you know what it was great for a movie. Every one has their own opinion and that’s fine. If you use reviews to decide if you’re going to watch a movie remember this. Not everyone has the same taste in movies. For the hard core game fans, you need to remember it’s hard as hell to take a game to movie and it won’t be perfect. I’d love to see a series about border lands that actually takes the time to do what the movie couldn’t. That’s right a movie can’t really give you a full border lands experience. There just isn’t enough time. This movie was good however and I stand by that. I love the games and I think they did a good job with this movie.

I as really looking forward to this movie from the trailers I saw. I grew up with the Aliens movies. From the trailer I thought finally!!! A Real Aliens movie not the crap that came with Prometheus. I was so terribly wrong. They didn’t pay a homage to the previous Aliens movies, they simply repeated scenes and dialogue from the original movies. The cgi of Ash was terrible. The rest was good but Ash was really bad. You don’t actually really learn about the other characters in the movie. I honestly couldn’t remember any of their names except for Rain and Andy. With the other movies your knee their names and what they were like as people. All of the characters were flat as hell. No real history about them. The greatest plot hole though was the abandoned space station above a big ass planet with lots of tech. Why is the kids were the only ones to pick up it was there and why the hell would the company just abandon that much work and specimens. It makes no sense especially after all the work just to get one. Then of course the real question. Why is it there are all these aliens in the bottom of the station that apparently been there all along but they don’t pop up until almost the end of the movie. You can include the fact they move slow as molasses and are a different color then the orginals. Rippley would have started laughing and asking what drugs they had and if she could get some before killing them with her pinky. Over all the movie was very disjointed and plot empty. Yes I typed plot empty because the over all plot appeared to be to get to this planet far far away and oh look Aliens on aisle 3. There was no real plot that made any sense.
