I agree that the lead actor is very good, and the cultural insights strong and moving. I do think Izzy’s sister is overly melodramatic-that’s either the actress, or the director ginning up the tension. Definitely worth watching in general though

Well done show. Excellent acting, eccentric characters. Has a dark, macabre vibe, although compassionate.

I find the pace hyper, and the humor trying too hard. That said, the lead character, policewoman Dulcie, is a steady force and compelling actress. Scenery great.

Excellent acting and filming. Realistic, edgy and totally believable. The New Statesman review is totally wrong. It’s a first-rate police procedural; if you don’t like those, go watch a thriller or “Kill Bill”.

Involving and like the actors, but awkward dialogue. And the husband is unbearably sexist, and the show seems to support him.

Way too much melodrama. Plus the lead is repugnant. And who would put a witness in a safe house without a guard or a security alarm.
