I think it's a great show. I just finished watching it and here is my verdict. The good:- Setting And atmosphere- the world building in the show is great. It's neither too dark and nor too cheerful is perfectly balanced in between. It's big ,intriguing and refreshing. Character development- the character development does not seem to be the strong point of the show at the start but as we move forward we are able to dive into the mind of our main characters and even know how they think ,how they feel, what they are deep inside ,and their real motives and also their personality gets even more developed as the show progresses forward. Fight scenes- They are great and the choreography is fine . And a huge reason is its animation style Most of them are not that memorable but the main ones are very good. Soundtrack- Nothing to say here you can listen to it yourself. Animation- in my opinion the animation is pretty great and the most interesting thing is it actually gets better as we as the episodes move forward and is especially great towards the end. Depth- the most important factor of any good anime is how did it is and Hunter X Hunter is not at all behind.as its character development gets better the show's depth also becomes visible.we slowly come to know our characters and get to know what they really are and we get to know how they feel and what their motives are. We actually start connecting with them. The bad:- Inconsistency - The show does become inconsistent at times. some episodes are intriguing and engaging and suddenly the next one becomes mundane and too simple. A few episodes rather feel a little unnecessary. Ignored characters- the only real problem I faced in the show is that to very main characters are rather ignored in the last two arcs. Leorio is not at all seen in greed island and kurapika is not at all paid any attention in the chimera ant arc. These two characters were not important to the story in the last two arcs but they shouldn't have been ignored as they were one of the mains during the start. and both of them would have even more greater character development if they were given more screen time and valued a little more during the last two arcs. Overall review:- 8.9/10

A beautiful show from beginning to end. The first and the second season are great. While the third and the fourth season are considered pretty bad in comparison to the first two, it's not at all right Tokyo ghoul re: is not bad but different as many new characters are introduced and the plot becomes broader and a little complex due to it. Some episodes do feel slow but that doesn't make it a bad show or a bad season. Tokyo ghoul's storyline is great. It's character development is on point. The ost and soundtrack are amazing and the animation is good too and only gets even better as the show progresses. THE show has a psychological aspect to it which makes it more deeper. Overall its a great anime with a very satisfying ending combined with a good storyline,great narration and amazing character development, memorable soundtrack and great animation. Go for it!! Overall verdict : 9/10.
