A brilliantly funny and sad film that captures and exposes a hedonistic, greedy, modern western culture, losing touch of its moral values. It shows politics, particularly in the US, for what it is - self serving, short-sighted and corrupt. The influence and power of the egotistical mega rich and famous is excellently, and accurately, parodied while the apathetic engagement of society is scarily on point. This film is a classic before its time and the average review rating from those that have watched it should serve as a warning - if the viewer didn’t get it they are the reason that society, without a fundamental values reset, is heading for a cataclysmic collapse.
