Equally saddening as it is touching, “What Remains…” has beautiful writing and graphics along with an amazing diversity of gameplay that makes for a surprising ride. A game for the emotionally intelligent that explore’s a family’s past and future, “What Remains…” takes place in a never ending family home located in the Pacific Northwest. Although designed single player, it’s excellent story and dialogue make it the perfect game to play or watch played with multigenerational family and friends. Remarkably touching, any sobs let out during game play won’t stop most in returning to play the game again.
