absotootly stunning. a tour de force. one of the greatest films ever made. i laughed. i cried. i almost pooped my pants. it really had it all. the best thing about the movie was how relatable it was. i really could put myself in peter's shoes and think that i too could become a friendly neighborhood superhero. in fact, if i could do anything in the world, it would be to have been a superhero, except i gave it up because it was taking a toll on my family life, but now i have an endorsement contract and make a lot of money from toy sales. but uh oh! there's an intergalactic evil super villain threatening to destroy earth, so i have to come out of retirement to save the universe once again. i also get free clothes from my advertising contract. spandex and such - lululemon, VUORI, OUTDOOR VOICES. except i actually wouldn't come out of retirement, i would rather the universe be destroyed than take off my VUORI sweatsuit and put my superhero costume back in. all in all, a great family film. five stars!
