This film has abandoned the whole theme and point of the franchise in hopes of making a Hannah Barbara cinematic universe. Make no mistake about what this film is trying to do...which is just open the doors to more films and characters, and at the expense of Scooby and the gang. The voice actors, especially Shaggy, are really bad.he sounds like he is crying and whining the entire time. Leaving the original voice cast behind in favor of celebrity voices to bring in people. This film is all over the place, trying to be hip with the millennials but then trying to get Gen Z as well, which is a recipe for disaster. This film will not age well and will be forgotten quickly cause of its timely jokes and references. Also they changed Velma into a spicy Latina for some reason and it comes off as a diversity choice and it’s annoying. Not to mention the Mystery Inc gang spends the majority of the film apart. Like Fred, Daphene, and Velma are barely in this film. A film about Scooby Doo! Honestly this reboot is terrible. I like the style and updated looks of the characters but everything else this movie has to offer comes off as calculating and focus group tested. No creativity or merit at all. Do skip
