Pearls Pudding

I’m a huge fan of The 1970s version. I read the book as well. I get that not everything‘s gonna be the same, but this is absolutely awful. It tried far too hard to be different than the 1970s version and the book. It was poorly acted as well. It was absolutely terrible. The problem with today’s horror is they tried far too hard to make children act like adults. They only go for shock and jump scares. What was so magical about movies that were made before the mid 2000s is that it was what you didn’t see that frightened you. Especially the 1970s version of this movie. It’s what you didn’t see that scared you because you’re imagination is far more superior than a movie screen.

Yet again its covered in woke lines. I am done with Netflix. Show could have been good.
