How could the story of Enzo Ferrari be this boring ? Well it was. Absolutely a bore from start to finish. Thoroughly disappointed with this movie, lack of conflict, lack of interesting story, etc. How could a movie about such a tumultuous and dynamic man, about such an exciting sport, at such an iconic time in Motorsport be so so so utterly boring ? This movie is an epic failure from start to finish. I don't care about Enzo, his zombie wife Penelope Cruz, his other wife, his vapid mother. There is no real struggle, no conflict - no nothing. Just a series of Enzo here, Enzo there - in his kitchen with the new wife, then with this first wife. then at the factory, then at the track where there is but one tragic crash. There is an attempt to create some conflict between Maserati and Ferrari, but like most things in this movie it just falls flat. What a waste of $20. If you want to see real life racing drama, watch the F1 Series "Drive to Survive" on Netflix. It's current and really interesting, and entertaining. Ferrari as a story could be a great movie. Sadly this version was a crash and burn.
