I have played many games in my life, but this is a game that I keep coming back to in an almost therapeutic way. The amount of detail and realism that Trevor built into the mechanics of this game are amazing. Many years ago when I was attending college and taking micro and macro economics, I had no trouble learning the material. When my classmates asked me if I studied economics prior to the class, I told them I did not, but that this game actually made the study way easier because the concepts were literally built into the simulation. This is one of those games that for many may seem strangely complex and not as graphically "up to date" as they'd like. However, if you enjoy games with rich mechanical detail that relate to real world concepts, you should give this game a try. I have kept coming back to this game since 2003, and now that I'm used to the detailed mechanics it has become and effortless stress reliever for me. The various adjustable "initial conditions" settings make it great for setting new and creative goals for seasoned players. There isn't another business simulation game that comes anywhere close to the accuracy of this game... and it has been out for almost 2 decades now.
