I thought this movie was amazing. Star cast of course made it even better. But the depth and truth to this story is inexpressible. It’s so raw and provocative. Obviously everyone will take something different from this story. What hit me the hardest was that everyone’s perspective is different. The mentally well and the unwell. The unwell not understanding that they are unwell and sometimes thinking it’s everyone else is unwell. Sometimes you are not aware of the effect you have on people around you. It’s not until you are made aware or attend therapy that makes you see these things from a different angle that you begin to realise that you have caused pain and the certain narratives you’ve built around yourself are false. And it is my opinion that the end of the movie portrays the pain of this realisation and how it can destroy you. I thought the movie was excellent. In my opinion anyone who gives this movie a less than 4 star rating just hasn’t experienced enough in live, or experienced heavy trauma, which impedes them from really understanding how deeply tragic and devastating this movie is but also the depth and complexity of its art.
