What a harrowing and extraordinary story. I cried, I gasped, I was in disbelief of what Shirley has endured. She is the epitome of strength and courage. What a woman. I just want to wrap my arms around me. And to you Emily Eklund Power, what a journey you must have had writing this. You should be incredibly proud. I did not want to put the book down.
