This movie was incredible. I loved all the characters, setpieces, chase scenes, and the soundtrack is currently at the top of my mix. There were so many rewatchable scenes, like the ladder scene, and the final act chase scene. I like that Samantha Carpenter got more development due to her not getting well accepted in part V. I'm glad Jenna Ortega's character survived. Chad is one of my favorite characters in this franchise. The fact that he survived those stabbings was a bit egregious, but I hope he doesn't die in VII. I loved the storylines, even Gale's because her writing a book would make sense. However, I still don't like how we didn't get any closure from her character other than that brilliant chase scene. I'm also enthusiastic that they brought back fan-favorite Kirby Reed. I love her character. The only thing that bothered me with Kirby is that she, like Gale doesn't get a fully-fleshed-out story. She was kind of just there as the sidekick. I hope Scream VII gives these two the development they deserve. I'm glad the core four survived. A lot of people thought Mindy would die, but I'm glad she didn't. Another thing is that there should have been more red herrings. Now, to get back on more positive aspects, the side characters, altough not too memorable were fun. There were so many action sequences that had me at the edge of my seat. Also, one more negative is that it seemed like the three killers weren't necessary. I'm glad that there were 3, but Quinn was taken out way too early, especially considering the fact that she made the rumors about Sam in the first place. Ethan was kind of bland, but his dad was more boring to be honest. But when the final act came, Wayne became exciting and crazy-eyed like Nancy Loomis. (lol) Anyway, there should have been more depth than just a copy of Scream 2's motive. Anyway, I'm done writing, this movie is awesome!
