Every show has it's low points, Season 1-5 is the show's prime (There was nothing wrong with it) Season 6 was meh but was still enjoyable. As soon as Seasons 7-8 rolled in, the pacing was off and there was sloppy story telling and a over stayed arc. However if you do binge watch Seasons 7&8 it does redeem it self mainly because your not watching every episode a week apart and it doesn't feel slow when watching them back to back.
With the new show runner, Angela Kang, Seasons 9-10 are Incredible and are up there in the top Seasons of the show, Its fresh and renewed and although losing some key characters it allows "The Walking Dead" to branch out bigger and better with its own established universe. All of the people saying that this show has died in a ditch really has to give it a second chance.
Just because your favorite character has died doesn't mean the show is drastically bad and you have to stop watching (its childish to do that). You're watching "The Walking Dead" , its not going to be happy endings and fulfilling lives for every character.
Highly Recommend watching this show!!
