The good old days when Kasamh Se used to air on Zee TV. I used to watch this show with my grandma and aunty growing up, it was part of our daily regiment and basically we could not go a day without watching it. I have to admit that my guilty pleasure was Kasamh Se. So out of the blue, ten years later, I have now decided to somewhat review it, even though I barely remember anything. I cannot, not talk about that legendary scene though, where Bani rolls down the window of her car and Jai goes into the deepest shock of his life to a point where the editing just went on crack. I can`t remember why he was at level 10 shock mode, but I guess you have to watch it to find out. In my books, I truly felt the depth of his emotions there. If I saw my ex just casually roll down the window like that, I would react the same way too.
As many avid cricket fans would say "Sachin is not just a player, he is an emotion!" I can almost say the same about Kasamh Se(not really) that this is not just a show, but it is emotions. That could either mean allowing you to laugh hysterically at the dramatic editing, be emotionally connected to the tumultuous characters' relationships or just have it act both as a destresser and a stresser depending on your needs. You know, take it or leave it. I would recommend just enjoy the show for what it is, if you are soul searching for some logic, Kasamh Se would absolutely be a "winner" in that department ;). If you are looking to enjoy watching Ram Kapoor in his younger days, with his fab hair, all I would say is "Jaa Simran jaa, jeele apni zindagi :,)."
