This movie is not only set in the 80s, it brings back the stereotypical clichés of those times as well. Ridden with plot holes, questionable motivations and unwarranted makeovers, it makes for a very disappointing sequel to the brilliance and freshness that the first movie brought. The cast can't be blamed for a sordid script, as they do try to salvage what they're given to work with, but fail to keep us engaged. The CGI feels more forced and obvious in this movie, and as for the villains, while one had questionable dialogues, the other was a straight up reject from the movie Cats. The movie is filled with caricatures amd zero plot. A massive disappointment.
