Very emotive series. The English are stubborn, hold on to anger, and aren't very forgiving. These traits come thru in the Character of Faith, her husband, mother in law, and her mother. I enjoyed the series immensely and even cried a little, but I firmly believe that ethnic( I am ) groups that stay in their lane in Western societies, fair better, on the whole. Northern Euro's have way more tolerance for the histrionics of their own kind.
