This album has simply changed my perspective on what music can be entirely. Not only is music a form of relaying some deep emotions and concepts not normally understood through just words, but it’s also a medium to challenge what can exist in our reality. This album is a perfect example of birthing something entirely new, and unseen/unheard.
It’s almost like Phil opened a Pandora’s box of instruments and sounds, that once you hear and feel, there’s no going back. You’ll feel emotions that seem almost like childhood curiosity, that will lead you to try and make sense of what you’re hearing. You’ll hear music that seems to plug directly into the part of us that make us human. The part of us hidden deep within, that constantly asks why we’re all here to begin with.
I’m just rambling now, but I seriously couldn’t recommend listening to this album any more. It is one of humanity’s greatest artistic creations if you ask me.
