Jason Bauman

Fantastic, if a bit overwhelming world building makes this book one of the few in recent memory that I spent a lot of time outside of reading trying to figure out what would happen next, or how the complex world she created really worked. This is science fiction, but most of the drama takes place deep inside the planet sized living ships the main characters inhabit. I really enjoyed this book and I can safely say I've never read anything quite like it.
