This deserves a second chance. I didn't appreciate it first time I saw it but read some other reviews that were very favourable so thought I'd try it again. I now "get" the ML and have a renewed appreciation for how he portrays a character who is either neurodivergent or lacking emotion due his dysfunctional upbringing or a bit of both. Despite the nay-sayers the FK plays her part well. What I really like about this drama is the balanced weighting between the main leads and the second male and female leads. They too are great and their slow burn romance is also fun to watch. This drama explores and celebrates difference: gender, sexual orientation; status; upbringing and mixes it in with romance. If you watched it once and it didn't float your boat, I encourage you to watch it again.

This had the potential to be my very favourite kdrama. Brilliant acting FL and ML in particular. Chemistry between these two was for the most part, electric. Costumes were stunning in both Josron and "new Joseon' time zones. Well done to the costume team. The time travel bit could have been better orchestrated. So I was absolutely hooked right up until the second half of episode 11. Episode 12 was sadly very lacking...too rushed...didn't make sense and ruined what could have been the best kdrama of 2023/24. Having said that, a second season with the same main actors would bring me back to watch.

Quirky, refreshing and fun. I loved the sound track and sound effects which are also quirky. The phase in this drama expressed by artist Ms Hong "incongruity within congruity" just about sums up the plot and the relationship between the FL and the ML It's the kind of drama you can watch over and over if you need something light-hearted in your life. A bit like eating comfort food....safe and warming!

This started off with so much promise but got boring quickly. The writers made all the women look so childish and ignorant while they made the men look like the heros. This is 1950s writing. Get over it writers and move into the 21st century. The FL and her female work colleagues were the most annoying flipping between being coy/cute and immature. FL started strong but the writers turned her into a fool. She is a great actress usually but this is possibly her worst performance...writers fault.. not hers. And what's with the orange hair? Asian women are beautiful with their natural hair colour so stop thinking that orange is attractive (unless it's natural and then it's beautiful). No chemistry between the ML and FL. ML looks too young to be paired with the FL. And stop with the botox and face fillers. Makes the actors look like puff balls. Celebrate natural beauty and give the wrinkles the chance to display the emotion they are meant to provide. Disappointed!
