Watching this movie for the, IDK, 20th time. The show was a bit more dialed in, sophisticated even. I love that this movie had a bit more camp to it. I think Kristy was the epitome of the cheerleader. I KNEW that girl in school. Couldn't stand her, LOL. It is that juxtaposition that made the whole concept so funny. Her flippancy and vapidness alternating with her acceptance of her role as the slayer was perfect. Amilyn's (Paul Reubens) death scene is, hands down, the funniest death scene ever filmed. Fight me. Revisiting it in the end credits was a stroke of genius.
