Hands down the worst movie I have ever watched. Legitimately made me hate penguins. Please take this trash off of streaming services and lock it away so it never sees the light of day again. The protagonist was so annoying and had absolutely zero character development and the plot was contrived. If you have young kids I do not recommend. It sends a message that animal trafficking is okay, that is simply not true. The people who made this movie should consider a different career path. Also the audio is so awful, it is impossible to tell which character is saying what because; 1. They look the exact same and 2. Half of them have the weirdest accents that cross the line into mocking and cultural misappropriation. Furthermore, the penguins were far too sexualised. This is a kids movie for Christ’s sake! It causes a problem of bestiality too. Speaking of Christ, the religious metaphors in this movie are just too much. No hate to any religion or culture, but just why? Why is this necessary in a children’s movie. Everything that could possibly be wrong with a movie is evident in this one. Bad character construction, bad visuals, bad audio, and a bad message to send to kids. Why are the penguins portrayed as South American? There’s also just one Irish penguin. They live in Antarctica. I strongly advise the animators, director, writers, and producers to take a long hard look at what content they are showing to children. Before you play this movie for your kids, I recommend you don't, for the sake of your sanity and theirs too.
