Worst horror film I've ever seen. Granted it has some decent gore, BUT and it's a big but... The characters are all unlikeable and some have back stories that never go anywhere. The plot is nonsensical, waaaay too many coincidences, even for a horror movie, with many of the scenes actually being unbelievable, such so I was shaking my head in disbelief. People react unrealistically just so the story can progress how it wants to. One example is as follows: two groups in town, one on a bus, a large group, and a small number of our main characters are in leatherfaces house. One of these stumbles out down the road, with half his jaw hanging off, leatherface is nowhere near at this point, apparently crying in his old room. One kf fhe large group comes out of the bus, sees our man with the slack jaw and gasps. The only other local in town is also present, he cradles slack jaw until he dies and directs girl onto the bus and tells her to get out of here. She goes onto the bus witb a painfully straight face and says nothing to nobody. 15 other people and ahe doesn't say anything about their dead friend outside or that they need t o get away. I know horror movie protagonists are supposed to be stupid. But come on. And that's just one of many, many times something happens that completely takes you out of the movie and actually ughing in disgust. Honestly. Watch half of it to see how bad it is... But then make sure you get very very drunk.
