This game was the perfect redemption story for 343. The jump from Guardians to Infinite could not have been executed better. They didn’t make the game unfair in difficulty scaling either. The weapon play and speed felt almost similar to Doom 2016 (which is not negative at all). The world building and atmosphere, story, weapon play, vehicles, and every other aspect was so perfectly conducted that I’d venture to say that it’s a better campaign than Halo 2 or 3 even. I know that’s pure sacrilege saying it’s better but by God I think it’s true. If they release DLC content, this game will be the best game since the release of Halo: Combat Evolved. I will not be taking counter arguments to my claims as they simply are not true. 343 has redeemed themselves as a company.
