It's a toolbox with a long tutorial/tech demo. It's not going to be for everyone, also a PS exclusive. I didn't care much for it, as the saying goes, a jack of all trades is a master of none. If your not limited to a playstation, I would recommend other tools. The point of the "game" is a media creation tool for the user (and a typical (for a game) we have a non-exclusive perpetual license to all your content legal clause). It takes a long time to really understand the tools and how to use them, so I would actually advise just skipping the "game" entirely and recommend diving into more serious programs such as Godot, Blender, Krita, Kdenlive, and other creative applications. It will take more time to learn, however you will eventually be able to do a lot more than what is capable in dreams, and you would be learning the skills needed to do it professionally and/or make an indie game/project. If your looking at Dreams from the side of consuming media such as games, animations and the like, delve into the world of indie creators, find a game jam and try new things, or an up and coming animators YouTube channel, you can find the same level of content (and probably better), and make a bigger difference supporting creators instead of a "game".
