I'm here to say that I loved the film. I don't have the fancy words to say or write a long review (many people have already done that). The Matrix Resurrections is quite a different approach from the Trilogy, but that was Lana's intention and it works in my opinion. The main core still remains true to its predecessors, I accepted it as the new version of the matrix. To me, one of many memorable things about The Matrix original trilogy is the love and connection between Neo and Trinity. Keanu said in many interviews that The Resurrections is a love story. I went in full of joy that I would get to witness that once again after almost 2 decades. The movie didn't disappoint me, the chemistry between Keanu and Carrie-Anne was still there. I teared up watching them, Neo and Trinity reuniting after being kept apart for so long and being brainwashed to believe in something new, but they find their ways back to each other through their love. I can understand what Keanu was talking about!! I loved Neo and Trinity back then, I love Neo and Trinity now. A big THANK YOU to Lana, Keanu, Carrie-Anne and everyone who was involved in making this film happen. P.S. I'm going to the cinema again this weekend with more friends!! :)

I had been putting off watching this movie for a long time, but finally decided to give it a go and glad that I did. I watched it without any expectation because of the reviews, but surprisingly I ended up enjoying it and watched it three times. My husband is very picky with a movie choice, he wasn't interested when I started watching it, saying that he was going to bed. He poked his head over at about 1/4 of the film, then he never left until it end. He said it wasn't a bad film at all. I understand not everybody would enjoy this movie, but it wouldn't hurt finding out yourself before deciding whether it's worth watching or not. It was definitely worth it for me. :)
