Worst NZ film seen. If it's meant to be satire, falls flat. Could take some lessons from Taika. Possibly would've worked better if it was set in the 80s.

Interesting to rewatch in light of the current Covid 19 situation. In retrospect, a lot of the science back then was fairly accurate in its portrayal of a virus. More deadly than Covid but lots of parallels. Wouldn't have wanted to see it any earlier in this outbreak. Would've been too scary to watch during the first wave, especially early on.
