There’s a lot of disappointment with this movie because I think it had the potential to be one of the best Disney movies. The plot, direction and climax of the movie is great. The execution was not. The scene change was too fast and it made me feel disconnected and I couldn’t really get engrossed in the film and forget I was watching a movie. The characters were a little too in your face with everything like there wasn’t any reading between the lines for characters. There was no character development. Also the villain in the beginning wasn’t even that bad… and there was a flaw with the story, like why would he originally wanna keep wishes if he didn’t do anything with them?? If he had been breaking wishes from the beginning then he would’ve really seemed evil from the get go. I sort of felt like he wasn’t that evil in the beginning and then he went crazy and I felt bad for him instead of despising him. It would have been more climactic if she accidentally witnessed him from the servant hatch stealing wishes and gaining power in the very beginning when she was gonna bring him something. I think they should remake this movie as a live action.
