From the jump, very emotionally charged showing the fear in a caged baby raccoons eyes being picked for experimentation and animal cruelty vibes throughout as they portray rockets experimentation journey. The amount of graphic violence has definitely increased, considering the guardians are usually the light hearted funny avengers. This was really disappointing and uncomfortable to experience, I had to leave the theater before half way. Why is the suffering of others entertaining? Why is disfigurement, gore and violence appealing ? Is cruelty a big money maker ? This is not the trajectory I imagined for the guardians, but here we are. Take it at your own risk, be mindful of what we glaze over our eyes and harden our hearts to, as these levels of violence are normalized we become desensitized to the evils perpetrated on humans and animals alike. Be careful.
