I am of the firm belief that “everyone has the right to an opinion, but not every opinion has the right to be heard”. Going into this I was skeptical. I seen a lot of the reviews dogging the movie, but after watching it I understand that majority of these people don’t know what they’re talking about. I’ve seen reviews getting mad about the apes showing reverent for Cesar acting like he’s just an ape that lived a long time ago. He is their Jesus Christ, how can you not see the semblance. It’s really not that hard to understand why apes are fascinated and revere ceasar. And the “Hail Cesar” similarity’s to “heil hitler” just shows how depraved and far the apes have strayed from the path that Cesar paved. Heck, one of the first things that raka talks about is how that Proximus clan does not faithfully hold/teach the true values that Cesar taught. I seen reviews complaining about to much CGI. Like seriously, a movie about talking apes has to much CGI😂🤣, do you think that they were gonna cast real talking apes. I’ve seen someone complaining that this movie has no feelings. Someone saying that it was too human centered. SMH 🤦.
I understand that there are fair criticisms about this movie, but not enough for the deplorable reviews that it’s getting. It’s like people actively go into the movies wanting to find faults in every nook and cranny. If you have this mindset, then all you’re hoping for is a bad time. I think that it’s a worthwhile movie to watch and would recommend it.
