This is my first michael Connelly novel. 107 pages in. Liking it so far . Good people, good characters.
Although I have a question that perhaps someone can enlighten me on. No talk so far of a murder weapon. Guy is found shot in the trunk of a car. Isn't the search for a weapon something that happens right away? Would it not be germane to know whether Haller owned any firearms, particularly one like that used on the victim?
